Euro Sets Another High Against the Dollar
The dollar has slipped again against the Eeuro. The euro has set another record high against the dollar, as the value of the greenback continues to fall following last week's cut in US interest rates. In early Monday trading, the euro touched as high as $1.4130 before falling back slightly to $1.4117. The higher value of the euro has led to fears over job cuts in Europe, as it makes exports to the US more expensive.
Search Engine Marketing
When you have a business on the internet, it is very important to get your website out there on the search engines and get those customers keying into your business and buying your products. You need to figure out what is the most cost effective way of doing this. You need to get your rankings up so that people are hitting on your site and bring business your way. Paying big money to big companies who assign you a single specialist who does everything isn't always the way to go and you probably can't afford it anyway, especially if you are just getting started. What you need is search engine marketing. They are a big company but they make their clients feel like they are working with a smaller company that has just their best interests in mind. They can deliver the level of expertise they give much larger companies, yet do it at competitive costs so that you can afford to use them. All you need to do is give them a call and you can talk directly to Brian, the VP. Why don't you look them up now and get going.

Apple iPhone Warning Proves True
An Apple software update is disabling iPhones that have been unlocked by owners who wanted to choose which mobile network to use. Apple said earlier this week that a planned update would leave the device permanently inoperable. It isn't like they didn't warn them about it. Now thousands of iPhone owners hacked their expensive gadget in order to unlock it for use with other mobile carriers and to run a host of unsupported programs and they are stuck with a phone that doesn't work. There are also reports of the update causing issues with unaltered iPhones.
Acupuncture - Is it Real or A Sham?
They have found that needles are best for back pain. Acupuncture is more effective at treating back pain than conventional therapies. There is a German team that has found that the patients treated with acupuncture felt pain relief. But the Archives of Internal Medicine study also suggests fake acupuncture works nearly as well as the real thing. Isn't that weird? They feel perhaps the body may react positively to anything needle prick or that acupuncture may simply trigger a placebo effect. I think this is very interesting as I have thought about having acupuncture, but now I'm not so sure.

Apple Issues Warning on Unlocked iPhones
Apple is warning that anyone attempting to unlock their iPhone to use with an unauthorized mobile network could find their phones irreparably damaged. Once Apple updates are installed the company said that modified mobiles would become permanently inoperable. It follows a flurry of hacks claiming to unlock the phone, which is tied into the U.S. AT&T network and 02 in the UK. Apple also has denied that it is doing anything proactively to disable iPhones that have been hacked or unlocked.

Marcel Marceau, French Mime Artist, Dead at 84
Another famous person has passed away. Marcel Marceau was best known around the world for his portrayal of a white-faced clown with a battered hat. He became world famous for his l947 creation of Bip, the sad, white-faced clown in a striped jumper and a battered silk opera hat. A friend of his said he was an extraordinary person. He trained with an extraordinary master and because of his wonderful witty personality he was able to captivate his audiences. I, myself, loved to see him perform.

Britney Spears Does It Again
This girl is in the news constantly and it never seems to be good news. Now she has been charged with hit-and-run and driving without a valid license. She is accused of hitting a parked car and driving away from a Los Angeles car park on August 6, according to the city's attorney's office. If convicted of the misdemeanor charge, the 25 year old could face six months in jail and a $1000 fine. She's the 3rd young Hollywood girl now in such a pickle and they seemed to get out of their's pretty easy. Do you think Britney will get out of this as well?

Got The Car Back
We went and picked up the car at the car repair place. They did a beautiful job fixing the bumper and they said the one license plate light was broken too. They fixed it all and it looks just like new. They even washed the car and that really made it look nice. It was so good to be back driving our own car rather than a strange one. No matter how nice they are, you are used to your own car. It sure didn't take them long either. We were happy about that too. It cost about $619 for the repairs. The gal in the office said they get a lot of jobs due to the transit buses hitting peoples cars.

Car Repairs
We had a local transit bus hit the back bumper of our car. It hit it hard enough to scrape off some of the paint and scratch it. It was a hit and run on top of it. It also broke one of the lights by the license plate. We didn't see that right away. It's going to cost over $618 to fix it plus the rental car but they said they could have it done sometime tomorrow so we are very glad of that. We have a lot of dental and doctor appointments to keep next week and would rather being driving our own car.

The Car Repair
Tomorrow morning we take the car into the shop to have the back bumper fixed. Since it is all fiberglass, it shouldn't be too big a deal. My husband said we could live without it being fixed if it had not been that it was a hit and run by a local transit van and was reported to the police. Our car was parked and there was a witness at the business next door that got their license plate number so I suppose the driver is going to get a ticket too for hit and run. Hate to be without the car, but will have a rental car. Always a little different getting used to driving a different car for awhile.
US Plans Base on Iraq-Iran Border
In order to curb the alleged flow of weapons to Shia militants to Iraq, the US military is planning to build its first base near Iraq's border with Iran. That base would be located four miles from the border and house at least 200 US soldiers, according to Major General Rick Lynch who was advising the Wall Street Journal. US forces also plan to build fortified checkpoints on major roads leading to Baghdad from Iran. Washington has frequently accused Iran of supplying and training insurgents.

Cellular Sales
What could possibly be better than having an expert come to your home and hand deliver your new phone? This online website cellular sales is going to launch this program soon and I think it is fantastic. I could become their customer for life as I always have all kinds of problems getting used to my new phone and what it can do. This company is one of Verizon Wireless' largest authorized retailers. They feel they owe their success to simple customer satisfaction and I agree with that. A satisfied customer will return over and over. Although they are an online business, they strive to give the same service as they do in their stores. And Verizon Wireless is the only major carrier with a 30 day test-drive pledge that pays for your calls if you aren't satisfied and change carriers. In addition, they will find a store location near you also. Check into their website for more information on this great new program coming out soon.

New Bedspread
I finally got a new bedspread. I got tired of fighting with the bed sham and the comforter so I got a full bedspread and let Holly have the comforter for a bed in the Lazy Boy. She likes that very much. Anyway, I got a pink bedspread because I thought it would be a nice contrast to the room since everything else is blue but I wish I had gotten blue instead. But guess I will have to get used to it.
Family Television Shows
Family television shows aren't what they used to be. They used to teach family values and good morals and the ten commandments. Now days, it is all sex, sex and more hints of sex of sex through their language. The early hours of the evening when the kids are watching TV isn't the place for them to be anymore. They are learning way too much too early and it isn't all good. Make sure what your kids are watching. You could be surprised at how raunchy those "family" shows are.
Foot Care Product
This is it. The greatest foot care product I have seen in a long time. It can prevent blisters from forming or help present blisters heal themselves giving immediate relief for the pain to help them heal faster. This Foot Care Product has been awarded the National Health & Wellness Club Seal of Approval. They announced ENGO patches and sent out 1,000 sample packs to NHWc to test to make sure that they really did relieve blister pain and help them heal. They have received many testimonials from real people who tried the patches and believe them to be the best care for blisters. Are you breaking in a new pair of shoes? Sure enough, you will get a blister. It is almost inevitable and there is nothing so bad as having sore feet. These patches are easy to use, you just peel them and put them on where the blister is or is starting and go. The long lasting pain relief will be wonderful. The patches are also guaranteed so try them out. You will love them.

Cartoons
I always read the cartoon page. Peanuts has been my very most favorite cartoon for as long as I can remember. Now they have a cute one called "Baby Blues" and it is so much like real life, having the babies, the babies growing up in stages and I think it is just hillarious. I guess that is because truth is always funnier than fiction as they say. I can relate to this cartoon every day and it makes me laugh. So many funny cartoons aren't funny, they are just cartoons. They seem to be lacking the right humor.
Deaths in Town
Another well-known woman has died of cancer at age 70 in our town. Her name was Betty Sankey and she was a bubbling, smiling person who worked part-time in nearly every business in town. Last time I saw her, she was passing out samples of something in the local grocery store. She fought a hard fight the past two years making alot of of trips to Iowa City and they thought they had it whipped for awhile but it came back with a vengeance and now her funeral is tomorrow.
Infidelity Support
Hey ladies! Now there is a website just for us who are looking for a date, new mate or significant other. They have taken all the women's stories they can get about lying, cheating and abusive men and put it all into this website Infidelity Support Before you get too serious about a man, wouldn't you like to hear from his exes before you too involved? I sure would. This site is the leader in online men's ratings since 2003 and now you can "Research & Rate B4 U Date". Isn't that a great idea? Women with bad experiences are now able to help women today who are just perhaps getting back into the dating game. You just never know from appearances often, who is a wife beater or womanizer, do you? Maybe you have had a bad experience yourself. They would love to hear it and put it on their website. It is strictly confidential and if you are scared someone will find out it was you, use the Library to check into this website and tell them your story. A neat thing about them is that they are donating the proceeds of their site to abused women and children. Check them out before you date so you don't get stuck with a real dud.

Family Reunions
How do you feel about family reunions? It seems you either love them or hate them. We started one on my husband's side of the family in 1982 and it went pretty well until all the younger ones with their little ones, grew older, grew up, grandchildren went away to college and the family reunion died. Most of the senior members of the family are dying off one at a time too so now the reunion is over unless somewhere down the line, some member of the family decides to try and start it up again for that generation like I did.
Old Time Movies
I have been taping Hallmark movies to watch while I am in here in the office working on the computer. The old movies are some oldie and goodies. I watched a John Wayne western yesterday and it was really good. Those old movies are clean, no swearing and good morals. I had forgotten just how tall and good looking John Wayne and he really made good western movies. I have a son-in-law that just loves a good western movie. I think he would like this one.
Long Island Magician
Everyone loves magic and everyone loves a good magician. A magician can really spark up a dull convention or meeting or a party. Or it is just fun to go where they put on a big magic show with all the great feats of magic like sawing someone in half. I can never figure out how they put someone in a box and stick swords in and not hurt the person. So if you are looking for a great magician for any event, check out long island magician and you will find one of the best around. He creates his illusions according to the event that he is working at. He loves doing magic himself because of all the pleasure it brings others. He works a lot of fun raisers and benefits too which is surely a good thing to do. Check out his website and learn all about him. He's an excellent magician.

The Robins
Have you noticed the robins are gone and they have been gone for quite awhile. The old timers say that is a sign we are going to have a hard, cold winter. I don't like the sounds of that, do you? The goldfinch are back and filling up on thistle seed and the hummingbird is really drinking his weight in syrup too. He is so funny. He runs off any other hummingbird that thinks he is going to get a drink at his feeder. They are so much fun to watch. We have the feeders close outside the window.
Rose is Home Again
Rose is quite a lady. She is home again from the hospital. She had a defibrilator put in this time. She had a pace maker put in last time and before that she has had about 3 or 4 stents in her heart and open heart surgery. Rose is 89 years old and still going strong. Her memory is starting to go bad but she still drives. I'm not sure that is a good idea but she seems to get along ok. She doesn't want to live with her family yet or the nursing home. Guess I can't blame her.
Online University
Have you been wishing you could get your graduate degree? Have you started working and now you can't find time to get back to school to get that degree you want so badly? Perhaps you are a policeman or fireman and just can't get away long enough to go to college and finish up your degree or meet the goal of your life to get a degree. Now there is help. You can go online to online university and find out all the information you need about degrees in a variety of fields. They also have undergraduate and graduate certificate programs that you can enroll in. Now is the time to do it and you can do this in the comfort of your own home and on your own time schedule. Just get online and check out all they have to offer you. I think you will be pleasantly surprised and will be eager to get started.

The end of the month is my husband's birthday. It is a special one and we are going out for supper with our daughter and her husband. That will be fun. We have a baby shower for our granddaughter that same day so it will be a busy day. Tomorrow is his checkup so he can have cataract surgery next Wednesday. He will be glad to see clearly again.
Little Grandma Del
Little Grandma Del is in the hospital in Mason and she had a light heart attack. She is a neat little lady, small and 94 years old. They are going to put a stent in her heart in the morning and she has signed a "do not resusitate" order in case something goes wrong. I don't think they make them anymore like her. She is a tough little lady. The kids and grandkids are going to see her tonight, just in case she doesn't make it tomorrow. Lots of prayers are going up for her.

My Epson Printer
I love my Epson printer. It really saves me a lot of work and I can get plenty of black ink on eBay cheap. I can copy off recipes and also the letters I write to people. It sure saves me a lot of long hand writing especially since I had my hand surgery. I still have a little trouble writing with it but it is coming along.
Our Exercise Machine
We have a Gazelle machine like Tony Little advertises on TV. We really like it because it is low impact walking and you can do all kinds of things on it. You can go as fast or as slow as you wish, but you must be sure to bend your knees when you are walking on it. It has a timer so you know how long you have walked, how fast and how many calories you have burned. My husband walks 20 minutes a day but I do good to get 10 minutes in on it. It is great in the winter when the snow flies. Much better than trying to walk outside.

We are planning a baby shower for our granddaughter next weekend. It will be a lot of fun going up to see where she lives. She lives just over the border of our state in another state. We got her a nice baby gift that we hope she will like. It is always fun to see all the new and different things they have now for babies. Things have really changed since we had ours.
The Lilac Bush
We had a beautiful purple lilac bush. It smelled so very good when it was blooming in the summer. Two years ago, the frost was late and it killed all the buds and we didn't have any lilacs at all. Then last year the snow was so high that the rabbits got way up the trunk of it and chewed off all the bark, killing it. But sprouts grew up and we wrapped them and we now have a good bush but we got some fence and we need to get it around it so the rabbits don't get it again this year.

This Was Holly's Day
Holly loves to ride in the car but she doesn't get to do it too often. Today she had to go to the Vet but first we had some errands to do. We went to the bank drive thru and cashed a check and she stands there and stares at the teller because she knows she is going to get a dog biscuit. She was so excited. Then we went to the post office and also to UPS a package at the hardware store. She sat in the car really well. Then we headed out to the pharmacy and she got all excited again as she knew they would give her a dog biscuit too. She at it sooo fast. Then the owner of the store saw her and talked to her thru the drive thru window and gave her a 2nd biscuit. That really made her day.
Holly
Today was Holly's day to go to the vet and get her flea treatment. She also got her nails trimmed. They use the dremel to make her nails nice and smooth so there aren't any sharp corners to catch on everything. She is very good about it. She was pretty scared the first time they used it because of the noise but now it doesn't bother her at all. She is the best little Boston Terrier around and she is so much company for us. She will be 9 years old on Sept. 25. Hard to believe we have had her that long. She is a sweetie.

John Deere
We have a grandson at John Deere that we are pretty proud of. He is working with new products and they have turned out the latest in tractors. It is satellite driven and needs no driver. It is quite a tractor. I would like to see one at work. Our grandson-in-law drives a Teragator that spread fertilizer on the fields and he says it pretty much runs itself. It is amazing what they can think of these days.
Heavy Frost
We had heavy frost the other night so I brought in my hanging baskets of impatients and put them in the garage. It got down to 29 degrees and there was heavy frost on everything. The grass was crispy. Then we decided we better bring in the hummingbird feeder as it is mostly water in the syrup and it would freeze too. We went out to get it and the little hummingbird buzzed our heads while we took it down. Then the next day I put it out again and filled it and by golly, that little guy buzzed my head so close I could hear his wings. A little closer and I think he would have gone through my hair. He sits on the shepard's hook and guards it against the rest of the hummingbirds and won't let them drink. He runs them off. It is so funny and lots of fun to watch.

Trip to Home Town
We took a trip to our home town today to go to the funeral of a 90 year old uncle. He was a wonderful Christian man and his funeral was a testimony of that. It was held in a big E-Free church and the pastor had a great sermon. There was a big crowd for someone that old. Usually they are small funerals when you reach that age. They had a wonderful homemade buffet luncheon after and everyone could visit.

Credit Cards For College Students
Everyone uses credit cards these days. They don't even ask you anymore if you are going to pay with cash or credit and they look at you funny when you write a check. When a student goes to college they really need a credit card and a good one. I am sure as a parent that most parents want their college students to have a good credit card and use it sensibly. And even better yet, they should get a card that pays them some sort of reward. This website Credit Cards For College Students has every credit card from most of the big companies, like Mastercard, Bank of America, Citi Bank, Visa and more. This is the place to check into to get your student a great card with cash back on purchases or gasoline and even if your credit isn't that great, they have cards for people with bad credit. Look into their website for more information. They have credit cards to fit every situation.

Rapper Brown Jailed for One Year
Rapper Foxy Brown has been sent to jail for a year in New York for violating her probation terms. The judge told the rapper that he was not going to give her any more chances. She had been held in jail since her last hearing in August. The singer, whose real name is Inga Marchand, was arrested on August 14 for allegedly assaulting a neighbor. In October she was put on probation for allegedly assaulating two nail salon workers in August 2004.
Friday Night
We went to the fish/chicken fry tonight with our brother and sister-in-law from Wisconsin and another brother and sister-in-law from Clear Lake. We had a good long visit and then I found a beautiful key chain in the parking lot. I hope I can find the owner because I think it is something they would want back as it has writing on the back. The sun is so bright this time of the year it is just blinding driving west. It is dangerous as you can hardly see.

Two Acquitted Over Katrina Deaths
The owners of a nursing home where 35 people drowned during the Hurricane Katrina disaster have been acquitted of all charges by a Louisiana jury. They faced 35 counts of negligent homicide and 24 counts of cruelty for not evacuating the premises as the storm approached. Patients drowned, some in their beds, as the hurricane swept through the area in August 2005. Hurricane Katrina claimed almost 1700 lives in Louisiana and Mississippi.
Mobile Phone Technology Turns 20
Can you believe that cell phones have been around 20 years already. The technology behind the mobile phone began on September 7, l987, when 15 phone firms signed an agreement to build mobile networks based on the Global System for Mobile Communications. Now there are more than 2.5 billion accounts that use this mobile phone technology. Adoption of the technology shows no signs of slowing down either, with many developing nations becoming keen users of mobile handsets.

Funeral on Saturday
My uncle died this week. He was 90 and I always had a good time with him when we were younger. We used to go out to his farm with my cousins, his 2 daughters, and wade in this little stream that had the coldest water. It was so much fun in the hot summer. We would catch little tadpoles. For anyone who doesn't know what they are, they are grow up to be frogs. We always looked forward to playing in the water there and had such a good time.

Guantanamo Medics Fail Patients
A letter published in a British medical journal says US military doctors have been accused of turning a blind eye to abuse at Guantanamo Bay Prison. This letter focused on accusations of force feeding of hunger strikers at the prison camp in Cuba. Thirty years ago Steve Biko died while being detained by security policy. At first it was thought he died of a hunger strike but later an inquest showed that he died of head injuries that happened during a policy interrogation. Thus, the doctors are suspected now of not paying enough attention to prisoners.

Happy Tuesday
It is a beautiful sunny day today. It is much cooler, really below normal. The wind is really blowing hard. I'm watching the neighbors trees sway to and fro. My Uncle Jack died yesterday. He was 90. He used to kid me a lot when I was small. I talked to my friend today. She got a lot of apples from my daughter and they are going to make a bunch of apple pies to put in the freezer. Will sure taste good next winter. They came and picked up my IBM Selectric typewriter today to see what can be fixed. It was very expensive years ago and is still a very good typewriter so didn't just want to let it sit around and deteriorate. It is still better for some things than the computer.

Bin Laden says United States Should Convert
Bin Laden has urged the American people to embrace Islam in order to stop the war in Iraq. This came out on a new video tape supposedly made by al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden. Unnamed US officials said the believed the speaker, who makes no overt threats against the US, was indeed Bin Laden. It was his first video in three years. The tape was released near the 6th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. President Bush said the tape is a reminder of the dangerous world we live in.

Soda and Caffeine Content Vary Widely
Are you looking for a quick pick me up to get through a long afternoon. Forget that cola. A fizzy citrus drink could provide even more of a boost. A new study shows that citrus-flavored sodas often have a higher caffeine content than the most popular colas. The research also found that caffeine content can vary widely from brand to brand and even within a brand. They are discussing that labels on packaging should give the caffeine content to help buyers make informed choices. So if you are concerned about caffeine, you better check out those labels more closely.

However, the US planemaker said the Dreamliner would still be delivered on time, in May 2008. Boeing is battling to complete work on parts of the plane which are at its plant in Everett, Washington. It has also had problems with flight software.
Apple Overhauls Entire iPod Line
A touch-screen iPod has been added to Apple's popular line of portable music players. The gadget also has wi-fi and a web browser on board so people can buy music when they are out and about. The device was unveiled by Apple boss Steve Jobs during a press conference that also showed off revamped versions of the other models of music players.
The overhaul comes in time for the key US holiday season when Apple typically sees an upturn in sales of the players.

Online Education
For a long time, I have been wanting to get my degree but I just don't have time to travel 30 miles to the next town 3 nights a week to take the classes at the community college. I am just too tired after work to absorb what they are trying to teach me. But a friend suggested I get online and go to this website online education and check out the list of colleges they have. They make sure they are fully accredited and I can find the one I need for the classes I want to get my degree and do my studying at home and get my degree online. That is so much better than the alternative of driving somewhere to college. I know I can trust them because they thoroughly check these colleges out to make sure they are reputable. I also found out they represent 9,230 online degrees and certificate programs in over 1,355 schools. If I can't find what I need at their website, then I don't think it exists.

Mattel Inc. announced its third major recall of Chinese-made toys in little more than a month, including 675,00 Barbie doll accessories, because of excessive amounts of lead-tainted paint. It covers 90,000 units of Mattel's Geo Trax locomotive line and 8,900 Big Big World 6-in-1 Bongo Band toys, both from the company's Fisher-Price brand.
General Motors Sales Up in August
After a dismal start to summer, August looked a little brighter for the auto industry despite continuing concern over high gas prices and turbulence in the housing and financial markets. U.S. sales were flat compared with last August, but that was better than the 12 percent decline the industry saw in July. The annualized sales rate for August was 16.3 million vehicles, the first time that number topped 16 million vehicles since May.
Vendstar
Every person's dream is to have their own business. And the best business of all would be one where you could manage it out of your own home. This is the greatest opportunity I have run across to start my own business and be my own boss and independent. I found this website vendstar that has just the answer for me. They have the candy vending machines that you see everywhere. I know everywhere I go, children are begging their folks for money so they can get some candy or toy capsules out of these machines. I also learned that it is a 100% cash business and you can make an 80% profit margin. They have been around since 1990 so I know they are reliable and will be around lots longer. Just since 2003, over 9,000 people have joined their company and have expanded their vending routes. If you are looking for a really lucrative business, check them out for more information.

Special prayers have been held at the tomb of Mother Teresa in the Indian city of Calcutta to mark the 10th anniversary of her death. They were attended by hundreds of people, many of them drawn from some of the city's poorest communities, to whom she had dedicated her life's work. The Albanian born nun suffered a crisis of faith, it was revealed recently.
Howard to Press New Climate Deal
Australian Prime Minister, John Howard has urged fellow Asian leaders to find a new way forward on climate change. Speaking ahead of an Asia Pacific Economic Co-operation (APEC) meeting, Mr. Howard said flexible targets should be adopted to cut emissions. Australia and the US are the only industrialized nations not to sign the Kyoto Protocol, arguing that capping greenhouse gases would harm growth. Mr Howard's stance has been criticized by environmentalists.

Abbas Makes Election Law Changes
Palestinian Authority Presiden, Mahmoud Abbas, has announced changes in the election law which could boost his Fatah party against rivals Hamas. Under the new law, Palestinians will vote solely for party lists, while voting by district will be eliminated. Hamas, which took control of the Gaza Strip after fighting with Fatah in June, described the move as illegal. Mr. Abbas revealed the changes as he met US foreign policy chief Javier Solana in the West Bank city of Ramallah.
It's Kind of Sad
You know, I have been thinking and it is kind of sad growing old. Our big family have families of their own and jobs and are so very busy. It's been a long Holiday with nothing to do and no company or BBQ's. In a way, it's kind of good to see the work week come again, even if we don't go to work anymore. At least the stores are open so you can go get something if you need it. I saw a cartoon that said it all. First, there are two of you 1 + 1 + 2. Then you have a family and it is 1 + 1 +4 + 6. Then it is back to 1 + 1 = 2 and you rarely see the 4 that are subtracted from the equation. You just kind of fade into the shadows and the next generation takes over. Life goes so fast you can't believe it sometimes. Heard on the news that it has been a year since Steve, the alligator man was killed by a Stingray. And Diana has been gone 10 years. Where did those years go? I'm that much close to Heaven and there are times, I can hardly wait to get there. Are you ready?

Pizza Ranch
It's Pizza ranch night tonight so we don't have to make supper. I will be busy all day posting, I hope, and it is sure nice to jump in the car and get some of that good pizza, broasted chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and lots of salads. They always have a good vegetable to and I like their chicken fingers dipped in ranch dressing. Yum Yum Almost makes you hungry thinking about it and I just finished breakfast :0)
Gastric Banding
All you have to do is look around you and you can see that so very many people are not just fat, they are obese. No matter how they cut back on their eating, it doesn't seem to work for them. I think it is because they have become used to eating such large amounts of food that their bodies demand it. Thankfully, now they have come up with a number of surgeries to help these people lose their huge amounts of overweight. This online website gastric banding is one of them that has come up with a very good solution to the problem of obese overweight.By way of a laparoscopic surgery, they can insert an adjustable gastric banding around the upper portion of the stomach. This creates a small stomach and passageway to he lower part of the stomach. You feel full and satisfied while eating a lot less and losing weight. If this is a problem for you, check out their website for more information and lose that extra weight.

Federal Reserve in Rate Cut Hint
The head of the Federal Reserve has hinted that rates may be cut to stem the US financial crisis caused by the slump in the housing market. Ben Bernanke said that the Fed would promote general financial stability. Later, President George W. Bush is expected to set out plans to help millions of homeowners with sub-prime mortgages avoid defaulting.
Montreal Restaurants
I believe this is one of the coolest online websites Montreal Restaurants I have ever seen. Restaurants can list their restaurants, along with their addresses. They can add pictures of their restaurant or dining rooms, menus and even show you the food. I thought that was really neat seeing the dinner right before me. They can also put in coupons and almost anything else they want to provide for people like me looking for a good place to eat out. The site is user-friendly for the restaurants to provide any and all of this information for patrons to view from the comfort of their homes. And I like seeing the address so I'm not wandering around all over looking for it. A picture of the outside of the restaurant is a great help too. The site is set up for easy advertising by the restaurants and soon many other sites will be in service too so there will be some all over the world. Everyone will be able to check out the place they want to enjoy their dinner, before leaving home.

New Turkish President, Abdullah Gul, has approved a cabinet submitted by Prime Minister Recep Tayip Erdogan of the Islamist rooted AK Party. The new cabinet is said to unite secular and Islamic minded politicians. The AK party won a huge majority in July polls triggered by a row over its plans to nominate Mr. Gul as president. Mr. Gul, a former Islamist, was elected president on Tuesday amid warnings from the powerful military of a threat to Turkey's deeply secular constitution.
