Former Miss America Shoots Intruder's Tires

Here's a good one. A former Miss America, who is 82 years old,was Miss American in 1944. She confronted an intruder on her farm in Kentucky this month because she noticed her dog run into a storage building where thieves had previously made off with old farm equipment. She got out her snub-nosed .38 caliber handgun, balanced it on her walker and the man told her he would leave. She told him he wasn't going to leave and shot out their tires so they couldn't leave. Then she flagged down a motorist who called 911. The man was caught and charged with misdemeanor trespassing. Miss Americanof 1944, said all she was trying to do was live a quiet, peaceful life and stay out of trouble and all it is is one thing after another :0)
