Ice cream Store

The ice cream store has opened up again for the summer. I worked 4 to 7:15 tonight with clean up and start up. Work again Tues and Wed afternoons about 4 hrs each. go in for surgery on right hand at 6:30 thursday morning. Had prayer for it in church this morning. got a new cell phone. Have to learn how to use it. Gotta keep teaching this old dog new tricks and keep up with technology. Took car in last week and needed new brake pads and also a new power steering hose. All took 4 hours so went to see brother-in-law and sister-in-law. He had fallen and hurt his elbow and was black and blue and hurting all over. she is on her 4th week of recovering from knee replacement and still hurting alot. They didn't go to the fish fry Friday night.We went to Carlos O'Kellys Saturday night, our favorite place. Frank & Ethel are coming May 3 and then on Friday we are going to Ackley to see the new grave markers on their sister and brother and also to Grandpa & Grandma K's graves south of Iowa falls. Then probably to Hubbard to see sister, Grace. Then Saturday is the wedding in Ankeny at 2 and reception at 6 so will be a long day. Agnes is coming from Texas and heard Dorothy is coming from Aplington.Jennie's grandaughter is getting married. Cousin. Butch is getting married the 19th in Iowa Falls and Doc's dancers are performing at the reception. Sould really like to go but it will be too
late. Wedding at 6 pm, then reception. Neal is going. Eloise will too I am sure.
He is marrying a gal from overseas somewhere. She and her family are here now in Miami for the wedding.
Michelle is staying at Hermans to help them out with their meals, etc. Neal goes to Dr Monday to see about his knees. guess that is about all I can think of right now.
