Life Happenings
So much has happened since I last wrote on my blog. I have gained many great grandchildren and now have 21. There have been so many celebrations, pool parties, picnics, birthday parties. Have spent much more time with my brother, whose health isn't the best but he gets around fairly well with a walker. It's been a good weather year with no tornado warnings which is rare. A good friend has been mowing my lawn and now it is full of leaves that need to be raked. Thanksgiving is getting close and won't be long till Christmas too.

Rain and the Crops
We have been having a little rain quite regularly. The corn has really grown and will be knee high by the 4th of July for sure. It is so neat to see the bean fields coming up too. The farmers put in a lot of work and had to do it inbetween rains, but they got it done. The crops look good around here. I feel so sorry for all those people in Texas who have been washed away, losing homes, cars, even family. We are blessed that we haven't had any of that.

Taco Tuesday
Today is Taco Tuesday at Taco Johns restaurant where my brother lives. We love to go there on Tuesdays if the weather permits. Today was strong winds but it was sunny. Although it was chilly, we just dressed a bit warmer and headed for our favorite TexMex. I go to his home and he drives from there. It's kind of funny as we rarely actually get tacos. I love to try all the different things they have on the menu. Today I had a fried stuffed burrito which was excellent and my brother had a super burito. I try to try something new every time I go and I have never been disappointed. It is always a fun day with my brother.
Passport Plus Acustic Electric Guitar
I do not know anyone who does not love to hear electric guitars played in every occasion where music is played. We have several in our own church praise and worship team. Of course, each person who plays the guitar has a personal opinion and choice of what they want and need in their guitar. In checking the Internet, the passport plus stands out as a fine accoustic electric guitar. It's beautiful shape is enhanced by mahogany and solid red cedar, beautifully built to produce marvelous tone. It does not matter whether you are an advanced or just a beginner, you will greatly enjoy your choice of this guitar.

Early Breakfast
We are having an early breakfast at church on Sunday morning. Then we will have our Easter church service. It is always a good time for all. The weather is going to cooperate and be nice. I am sure happy for that. Rain is going to hold off till Monday and later in the week. We had a really good rain last night but of course more is needed. It is a wonderful season to celebrate that JESUS IS RISEN and is in Heaven. What a wonderful time that will be when I get there. My husband is already there.

Very Cold Winter
We are blessed not to have snow and ice like many places are having. Heavy rains in California causing problems too and freezing rain in the South. However, we have the cold. It is -13 this morning. The wind chill is -23 but will get worse as the wind picks up. The sun is out and it looks so nice outside. That is very deceiving as it is super cold. I feel sorry for all those working outside all the time. No wonder my husband always hated winter as he worked outside all his life.
