Scientists Believe Appendix Good For Your Gut

According to some scientists, they think they have figured out the real job of the troublesome and seemingly useless appendix. They find it produces and protects good germs for your gut. At least that is their theory from surgeons and immunologists at Duke University Medical School. I guess we have always wondered why we had an appendix when they usually take it out whenever you had any kind of surgery in that area. And unless it got inflamed and burst or you got really sick, many people have probably lived all their lives with their appendix. Since God put it in us, it has to be good for something, don't you think? Maybe they have found out its use at last.
