Car Damage

How do you feel about someone hitting your car and doing damage to it and then not letting you know about it? We discovered the other night that our bumper had been hit and hit hard and cracked it almost completely down to the bottom of it on one side. It also damaged the lining inside the bumper by the wheel. It knocked out a whole piece, part of which contained a bolt that held the bumper to the liner. So the bumper was kind of swinging loose. We called the insurance company and took it in and got the estimate and took it in for repair this morning. Lucky for us our insurance pays for a rental car as it will take 2 days to fix. We will have to pay the $250 deductible since they hit us and ran. That makes me mad.

That totally sucks.

This happened to me once and I also had to pay my deductable. Some people out there need to learn how to be accountable.

In 2004, some thugs side swiped us and ran...we had only had a brand new Camry for less than 6 months.
We are conservative Christians and do not swear...but we came really close after that one. Anger is a mild way to explain our emotions.

On Christmas Eve 2007, a deer kicked in my headlight as I was doing about 45 miles per hour on a state highway stretch in a suburban/rural area. Of course, it died, but he completely demolished that one headlight and his leg ripped off.
I was kind of angry, but kind of sorry for the poor thing. I didn't know that they think those decorative deer that move are real deer. Later that winter, we had a close encounter with another deer that was trying to check one of those things out in someone else's yard. Go figure.
