Cold, Gray Morning

It is a very cold gray morning and Fall is in the air. I can see from here that the trees are turning and one has lost a lot of its leaves already. The grass has slowed up growing and the Mums are blooming now. They are the last ones to bloom in the summer. The hummingbirds have been coming regularly and we know they are filling up to go south for the winter. The Robins left awhile ago already and I don't think that is a good sign. They say we are going to have a very cold winter this year. No one enjoys that unless they ski or ice skate.
