Typewriters

Typewriters have gone the way of horse and buggies. My dear old typewriter died and there was no reviving it. It broke a part that had been obsolete for 12 years. It was an IBM Selectric II with automatic erasing and I just loved that typewriter. It was so handy for typing letters to those who are not on email yet, mostly the older relatives. But I have gotten used to using Word on the computer now and it is my typewriter. I have not quite gotten used to getting it set right for margins on the paper when I print it, but it is getting better. I still wish I had that typewriter in working condition but then it makes a great deal more room on my little desk for more clutter :0)
