Governor Candidates

We are being bombarded with telephone calls from future hopeful candidates. They are all working toward getting out the vote for themselves for governor. Even the present governor is traveling around the state talking to groups. It is rather interesting to see how they think and just what they stand for. There have been two candidated in our town today, one this morning and one this afternoon.

Ulan Bator, Mongolia - Elections

There were parliamentary elections on Sunday in Mongolia. Mongolians endured long lines in order to vote in these elections. Two major parties campaigned on pledges to share more of the country's natural wealth with the mostly poor public. There were more than 350 candidates from 12 parties and one coalition that were running for 76 seats in the State Great Khural.
