Snowstorm Wreaks Havoc in Midwesst
A very late April snowstorm really caused a great deal of trouble throughout the Midwest. Hundred of airlines had to cancel their flights once again, one of the many times this winter. Schools were closed and happy children were out playing in the snow and making snowmen as it was a heavy wet snow. Most places got at least 5 inches. A major league baseball game even had to be called. North and South Dakota both measured about 7 inches and up to 10 inches was possible in Wisconsin. Minnesota was hit hard too. Many accidents claimed lives which was very sad. There was a strong wind with it to that shut down alot of activities. Another one is sneaking up on us from the south this time so think it will hit the south instead. But tornadoes are the biggest worry there and heavy rains in the east will follow.
