It's a Birthday Circus!!

Our little great grandson had his 2nd birthday last week. His Mom is very talented and she did his party up in a complete circus theme. Everyone had a wonderful time. I wish we could have been there too. The food looked delicious as you can see here. Emry had a great time and a neat cake. Now he is waiting for his little brother to arrive next month. How exciting!!

He's Two Years Old

Look who is two years old. His birthday was Friday the 13th. That was a lucky day for him. He got to blow out some candles for his birthday and then had a big party at home on Saturday. I wish we could have gone but I had to be at a baby shower for another great grandchild that is on the way. Emry is the cutest little boy with the cutest expressions. It is so much fun to watch him discover new things.

Happy Birthday Emry

Today is Friday the 13th and a lucky and blessed day for little Emry. He is 2 years old today and just caught up with his first cousin, Kaelyn who turned 2 Nov. 1. They are quite a pair. Emry has so many cute facial expressions. He's such a neat little boy and so much fun. He really loves to eat and isn't picky either. Give him food and he is happy.

Mexican Lasagna

I made a big pan of Mexican Lasagna yesterday. We had some of the leftovers tonight and the flavors were even better than last night. It is a family favorite and I have taken it to family reunions and brought home an empty pan every time. I love making hot dishes but sometimes it is hard to cut down the recipe for 2 people so you don't have to eat it for a week. When it gets cold, hot soup and hot casseroles really taste especially good and the oven heats the house even more too.
