Forecasters Predict Busy Hurricane Season
Forecasters are predicting a busy hurricane season for the East Coast and Gulf States.I sure hope they are wrong as they haven't recovered from the last bad hurricanes, especially Louisiana. Forecasters expect more tropical storms than normal and it just takes one to make it a bad year. They expect 13 to 17 tropical storms with 7 to 10 of them becoming hurricanes and 3 to 5 in the strong category. They are urging the millions of residents in vulnerable areas to prepare their homes for the storms and keep at least three days of food and supplies on hand. I'm sure it's hard to do this and think about it when it is months off yet.
