Jerry Lewis Telethon

The Jerry Lewis telethon is going to bradcast from Las Vegas again this year. Lewis, who is 81, said in a statement. "It's great to have this super production telecast from my hometown". The 2006 telecast raised a record $61 million. This makes a total raised since l966 by the telethon to $1.4 billion. This year's show will air on 190 television stations nationwide and will be produced on an ABC affiliate in Las Vegas, KTNV-TV channel 13. MDA works to defeat more than 40 neuromuscular diseases through research programs and professional and public health education. Let's everyone get behind Jerry again this year and break a new record.
