Mexican Food Day

Today was a great day for Mexican food. First we had Tacoburgers at Taco Tico and I had a yummy cherry empanada rolled in cinnamon sugar and lots of it. Yum Yum then tonight we went to Tex Mex Nite and dad had his usual Super Burito with 3 salsas and I had 3 hard shell tacos with sour cream and salsa on each. Washed it down with Pepsi and cherry Pepsi. I could do that almost every day. We Stopped and gassed up at noon at Wal-Mart with the discount coupon it was $2.869/gallon. Gas is really going up again. It is $2.899 here in town and most every where we went this morning. Had a great nap, caught a couple of posts and looking for more now. Tomorrow we're going to run to the pharmacy and then to the hardware store for a new rain gauge. It split since I put it out thinking it was warm enough and it got 5" of snow in it, turning it into a big icycle so need a new one. We went out and filled the finch feeders this afternoon and it is a joy to see half dozen or more yellow goldfinches with their little ones at the feeders. Filled the neighbors too. Yesterday at one time there were 7 goldfinch hanging from our bird feed sack. It is amazing, plus there were 3 on each of the other 2 feeders. Just love them. They are so pretty. They make a great State bird.
