Missouri River Flooding

I don't know how many of you have kept up with the weather in all parts of the U.S. but I think the Missouri river flooding had to be on a smaller but similar scale as New Orleans. Five levees broke and the Missouri river flowed right thru many homes, farms, and one levee that broke at Willow Creek flooded the town of Missouri Valley. That levee allowed five feet of water to pour into the homes of everyone. Residents have finally been able to return to their flood damaged homes and now the big cleanup begins. Road crews are scrambling to repair roads that were damaged by the high water. The area has remained closed to traffic, but residents were allowed back in on foot to gather their belongings. I can't begin to imagine what I would feel like if my home was flooded by 5 feet of water. I feel so sorry for those folks.
