Rolling Thunder Calls On The President

Most Sundays,President Bush likes a serene White House but every now and then, though, he is ready to rumble. The leaders of Rolling Thunder, the motorcycling group that raises awareness about missing veterans, roared right up the mansion's driveway this Sunday. President Bush had just returned from a weekend at Camp David and he stood alone outside the South Portico to meet them. No Memorial Day weekend in the capital is complete without the ritualistic rumble of Rolling Thunder. The nonprofit group has led a "Ride for Freedom" for 20 years now, along the National Mall. In a full-throttle demonstration of support of soldiers held captive or missing action, they ride through. That has got to be a site to see.
