Afghanistan Clashes

U.S. led coalition forces and Afhgan forces killed 36 suspected Taliban rebels in a series of clashes and air strikes in southern Afghanistan. A NATO soldier was killed and two others were wounded in another operation. In the east roadside blasts left six police officers dead. The joint forces called in an air strike on the Gereshk compound leaving 2o suspected Talilban fighters dead there too.
