Blackberry Makers

Blackberry makers shares surged more than 15 percent in after hours trading Thursday after the Blackberry Maker, Research in Motion, Inc., said its first quarter earnings grew 73 percent on increased sales and subscriber additions. For the quarter ended June 2, Waterloo, Ontario based RIM earned $223.2 million, or $1.17 per share, up from, $128.8 million, or 67 cents per share.
