Lady Bird Johson Dies at 94
The wife of Lyndon B. Johnson died at the age of 94. Many people loved her and she did alot for the country. They were in the car right behind President John F. Kennedy, when he was shot. She was a devoted wife and mother, a passionate conservationist and a dignified First Lady, who was thrust into her role during a time of tragedy. Laura Bush remembers her as a warm and gracious lady. President Johnson once called her a woman of ideals, principles, intelligence and refinement. The couple had two daughters. She died of natural causes.
