Moth Invasion in California
Moths have invaded California in the Santa Cruz area. The infestation of an invasive moth threatens 250 plant species there. The pest, a light brown apple moth has been found outside 9 counties for the first time outside where they are usually located. It had never been detected before in North America but was discovered in February in a backyard in Berkely.
