Mufflers and Trains

If it isn't the neighbors old truck running that needs a new muffler BAD, it is a heavily loaded train going through blowing his whistle like there is no tomorrow. They say our brain trains itself not to hear these noises at night when you are trying to sleep and they are right. I used to hear every train whistle when we first moved here but I sleep right through them now.
