US Capital To Host Live Earth Gig

Washington D.C. has been added as a venue for Live Earth Concerts, organized by former US Vice President, Al Gore, to highlight climate change. Among the stars performing will be Garth Brooks and Tricia Yearwood. Several other cities will host these gigs. Among them will be Tokyo, Sidney, Hamburg and others. Also the acts in London will be Madonna, the Beastie Boys and Duran Duran. Other stars lined up to play around the world are The Police, Lenny Kravitz, Kanye West and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. This will be a global response to a global problem according to Al Gore.
