Robin Roberts of ABC Diagnosed With Breast Cancer
It was announced that ABC "Good Morning America", anchor Robin Roberts has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be undergoing surgery. She is 46, and told viewers about her cancer on the show. She feels she is so blessed that she found this in the early stages and the prognosis is so promising that her doctor expects her to be flying planes and hanging on to submarines in the middle of the Atlantic and scaling the Mayan pyramids in no time. She examined herself and found a lump on her breast the same day she reported on movie critic, Joel Siegel, who died of colon cancer last month. She is single and has no history of breast cancer in her family.
