California Fires

Everyone has seen the California fires on TV and we have a niece in Escondido that the fire just missed her house by one mile. Today thousands of evacuees have returned to parts of California devastated by the wildfires. Some are finding their homes are no more than heaps of smoldering rubble. Fire crews have had their work cut out for them but many of the blazes are now under control.
