Snow Birds

A lot of you folks in other states, especially warm ones, may not know what a Snow Bird is. They are midwesterners who travel south to Florida, Texas and Arizona for the winter. They want to get away from the freezing cold, snow, ice and freezing rain. Can you imagine that? My old neighbor goes every year and I watch her house for her, water the plants and pick up her junk mail. It gets to be a bigger job every year that I get older but I like my home and wouldn't trade places with her.
