Twins
Today my little baby twin girls turned 49. It is very hard to believe as I can remember the morning they were born like it was yesterday. The first one was born at 9:00 a.m. and weighed 7 lbs 2 oz and the second one was born at 9:06 a.m. and weighed 6 lbs 15 1/2 oz. One of the ladies in the hospital couldn't believe it as I am very short and she said one of my babies weighed more than her little 5 lb girl. It was very exciting as we didn't know till 10 days ahead of time that we were having twins for sure. They didn't have all the fancy ultra sounds they have today. They took an x-ray and I wish I had asked to see it but I was young and didn't think of it. I suppose they saw two little skeletons in there so they knew it was twins. We had to pick 3 sets of names, two for girls, two for boys, and one for one of each. That was an undertaking in itself.
