Estelle Getty Dies at 84
Perhaps you won't recognize her name, but she was the old gal on the "Golden Girls". She really wasn't as old as she portrayed on the program but she did a good job of it. She tried for 40 years to get a staring role and finally got that one in l985 and she was good at it. I always got a kick out of her and Maude and the rest. They were funny. She will be missed by a lot of people I am sure. She will always be with us in re-runs though.

I think that Estelle Getty was the best part of that show. She was great and had some of the best scenes. You're right, she will be missed.
