Oil Prices

I was just listening to the news and they said the price of a barrel of oil jumped up again today. I asked what the reason is now and my husband said it is because Congress is dragging their feet on drilling off the coast. They want to put a 100 mile limit on it and no one is going to go out that far and drill. Whose side are they on? Certainly not the working people, that is for sure. It is sad that you have to be a millionaire or more to even get elected anymore so why should the worry about gas prices. Their chauffeur no doubt fills their car and it goes on their expense account I bet. I wish they would all have to live like the average person for a month and maybe they would come down off their high pedestals and do something for the people instead of looking out for their big paychecks and bonuses and retirement plans. They get so much when they retire for the rest of their lives, out of taxpayer money, it just about makes you sick.
