Dusty Roads

We went for a drive today. The weather is beautiful, although quite hot. We wanted to go for a ride out past our old farm. We were so surprised to see new homes that had been built along the way. Also one old farm was nowhere to be found and it is a big corn field now. Our acreage has really changed in that the barn, hog house and other buildings are gone now. Some of those that are left are in bad repair. The house, however, was sided and new windows and is in great shape and will be there for many many years.
