Graveyards

Not many people like graveyards. I know I never used to want to see or visit a graveyard. But as you age, it becomes rather interesting to walk among the tombstones and markers and read the names and dates of those who went before us. There are so many grandparents lying in their graves that have been long forgotten as a number of generations have passed away since they died and there is hardly anyone left who remembers them. Sometimes you find a young person that only lived a short while on earth and you wonder what happened. Then again, you may find someone that lived 100+ years. The very old tombstones have character in themselves and are kind of interesting to look at and read. They have really changed in hundreds of years.
