Another Rainy Day

Here it is, another rainy day. However, we really need the rain. Everything is so dry. But have you seen the news about the Tropical Storm that hit Texas? They had tornadoes in downtown Dallas that did real damage. We have relatives in Dallas and wonder how they are doing. They got as much as 16 inches of rain in one place and 11 and 12 inches in many other places. Southern Texas is so very dry but when it rains like that, most of it just runs off. It doesn't have time to sink into the ground. There is a lot of flooding and it sounds like it did as much damage as some hurricanes have done in the past in other places.
