Headstart

Headstart gives the little children ages 3-6 a head start for kindergarten. Many parents cannot afford a private pre-school so it is very good for them. They take applications in the summertime for the Fall start up. Our local school has also started a pre-school for children and a special education class for children that need extra assistance in learning. They expect the children to learn a great deal more now when they start Kindergarten than they did when my children were small.
