Thunder Snow

We are under a blizzard warning and it has begun to snow.  The warning said we could get "thunder snow".  I am not sure what that is but they said it would bring much more snow than usual.  The wind is picking up all the time.  Churches closed today and all other activities.  Roads are a sheet of ice.  Two people slid into another car yesterday and killed two teenage sisters.  So very sad.  It has been a very tough winter.  They say it is the coldest winter since 1986.  I remember those years well, as well as, the 70's which were bad.  We had lots of snow and many power outages.This is all supposed to last till tomorrow night and then the next day will also be well below zero.  It makes simple things like going to the grocery store hard.
