Doctor Appointment

Had my pre-op checkup this morning at the doctors so I am all set for my big hand surgery next Thursday. The doctor told me when she had her hand fixed, the second day they sent her to the physical therapist who works with the doctor and she took off all the wrappings, and dipped her hand in warm wax. Then the therapist had her work her fingers into a fist and she thought she was going to pass out and told the therapist that. So they laid her down and then had her move the hand. Guess it hurt that bad. Ouch! Wonder if I will have to do something similar??? Yikes!

Cast Off

And I don't mean go fishing. Tomorrow morning I get my cast off and see how the surgery is healing on my hand. I hope I can get rid of this sling. It hurts my neck. I am going to get a haircut first at 8:00 a.m. and have to be at the doctor's at 10. I am managing quite well posting with one hand, but then my brother does it with one finger, so who's complaining? He has to have a knee replacement just as soon as he decides to do it. He did find out that his other knee replacement is ok. He thought he had hurt it. So that was good news. At least he can post now while being housebound when he has the surgery.
