FBI Recovers Remains of 2 U.S. Contractors
I just read that authorities have recovered the remains of two U. S. contractors who were kidnapped in Iraq more than a year ago. The men were among six Western contractors kidnapped in separate incidents. Their disappearance received new attention earlier this month when the severed fingers of several men were sent to the U.S. military in Iraq. Isn't that awful? Hopefully, they were dead when their fingers were cut off. The FBI identified the contractors as Ronald Withrow of Roaring Springs, Texas and John Roy Young of Kansas City, Missouri. Withrow worked for JPI Worldwide when he was kidnapped in January 2007 and Young worked for Crescent Security Group when he was kidnapped in November 2006. This must be a great relief and will help with closure for these families but it is very sad that they are dead.

Capella University
An important Web Release stated " Capella University Master's Degree Student Received FBI Director's Community Leadership Award". This was an other important announcement made recently by capella university, the fully accredited online university. Capella was founded in 1990 and grown in acceptance and reliability throughout the 50 states and 56 countries. They serve over 17,900 students, among them, Tammy Alexander, who received this FBI award. She is studying hard to complete her master's degree in education and is to be commended for her fine work on the board of advisors for the Infragard East Tennessee Alliance. This is an FBI program working with the government and private industry. This award is given to one organization or individual in each of their 56 field offices. I am sure that Capella is proud to have students of this caliber attending their online university.

Capella University
The latest web release from capella university is another feather in their cap, so to speak. One of their students has received the FBI Director's Community leadership Award. I think that speaks very well for this fine accredited online university. Tammy Alexander is a master's degree student. Capella offers both graduate degree programs in many careers, as well as, undergraduate programs of education. I felt Tammy was overwhelmed by the honor as she felt others were just as worthy of the honor. This award publicly recognizes the achievements of individuals actively involved in community crime prevention. It is given annually to organizations, as well as, individuals from each of the 56 FBI field offices.
