Global Warming

They have got to be kidding. We have a perfect example that this is a myth. Snow dumped on us all the way to the Atlantic ocean. Some places can't even find there cars. 38 cars in the ditch this morning, just in one town. Wind blew so hard there was no visibility in places. Cleared the driveway and a big drift blew in again in a short time. Pushed the snow off the deck 3 times so far. They say more snow tomorrow. GEE, We can hardly wait - not.

Blair and Merkel Meet Before G8

Prime Minister, Tony Blair, has held talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin ahead of this week's G8 summit. He welcomed a US commitment to become part of a global agreement on climate change. In addition, he said a critical topic would be Africa and sticking to commitments made in 2005 at the Gleneagles G8 summit. This week's gathering will take place in Heiligendamm today. Mr. Blair wants a framework to be drawn up with the "plus five" states - China, India, South Africa, Brazil and Mexico - for action to tackle gobal warming, to replace the Kyoto targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, which expire in 2013.

Blair Push For climate Progress

Prime Minister, Tony Blair,has welcomed President George Bush's call for a global warming summit this year, but said more is needed. President Bush said major polluters needed to set targets and "great breakthroughs" in technology, led by the United States in order to allow this to happen. Blair, who was visiting in South Africa, said he wanted to see us go further now from what President Bush laid out. Africa and climate change will be key topics at the G8 summit, he said. All the main players, such as the US, India and China have to take part or the world will be unlikely to make progress according to Blair.

Global Warming - Truth or Farce?

The Government is really worried that global warming is going to cause more flood and crop damage. Scientists say it isn't so. Who do you believe? We had the coldest, snowiest winter in a long long time. There was no sign of global warming here. They say the icebergs in the Arctic are melting but you know they have been doing this as long as the earth has been. And it didn't cause the ocean to rise and flood over Florida and California or anywhere else for that matter.The government thinks they face a potential payout of at least $919 billion under a worst-case scenario of flood and crop losses due to global warming. The total has grown from about $209 billion in 1980 and could be even higher today because the data is two years old. We do seem to get more droughts, pestilence, fires, storms and floods, but anyone who has read the bible and Revelations, knows we are in the end times and it says that is just what is going to happen. Global Warming?

Global Warming? Who are they kidding. It was -11 at noon yesterday and it was -20 last night at 10:00 pm. If this keeps up, we will all freeze to death in their Global Warming.
