Wonderful Weekend

Had a wonderful weekend. I drove down to see my son and his family. He and I went for a great Mexican lunch while his wife and daughter were at work. Then we took a really nice drive around his city and saw all the new schools they are building there, the many restaurants and lots of new housing. That night he drove us to see the CARMAN concert which was the best. We had the best time and have been his fans for many years. We got to meet him afterwards and talk with him and get pictures taken. It was a great time for all. Many of my family were there. The next day I drove home after it quit raining. I sure did enjoy it.

Back Surgery

My brother had back surgery last Thursday.  He had a nerve pinched in his lower back.  It was causing him great sciatic nerve pain all down his leg.  He wasn't getting much sleep and it hurt him in the daytime as well.  He had the surgery at 10 am and went home the next day at 10 am.  He can't drive for a week but that's good so he will stay home and rest and let his back heal.  I helped him yesterday to change the bandage.  His daughter changed it the day before.  He is doing real good now.  I took over a Mexican lunch and we both enjoyed that very much.
