Sony Cutting Workers

It is reining in spending and shutting plants as it tries to ride out a looming worldwide recession that is battering Japan's export-reliant manufacturers. Technology Marches On

I read in today's paper that Sony has revealed a paper-thin display for cell phones, TV's and other gadgets. I feel Sony is one of the best in advancing new techonology all the time. Everything gets smaller and more compact and now Sony may have beaten everyone in coming out with a razor-thin display that bends like paper while showing full-color video. Can you imagine it? They released video on the new 2.5" display last Friday. In it, a hand squeezes a display that is 0.3 millimeters, or 0.0l inch thick. It shows color images of a bicyclist stuntman and a picuresque lake. Amazing!
