Mountains of Colorado

My daughter, her husband and two sons traveled to Colorado to my grandson's wedding. Here you see them sightseeing in the mountains. It was just beautiful weather.

Everyone had such a good time venturing out into the mountains and taking pictures. Since we live in the flat lands of corn and beans in the midwest, it is extra enjoyable for us to go to see the gorgeous mountains God has made for us to enjoy.

Colorado Vacation

We went to Colorado to see my grandson get married high above Estes Park. It was just beautiful. The view was amazing. The outdoor wedding chapel was carved out of stone and little hummingbirds were flying to the red flowers behind the Pastor. We really enjoyed all the beautiful mountains and now so much of it has been burned in these terrible fires out there.

It was such a lovely trip.

Rocky Mountain National Park

Beautiful waterfall way high in the Rockies. We got up to 13,000 feet where it was extremely windy. It was also very cold. We saw snow as we drove up to a high point to take pictures. A trip to this Park is well worth the drive. It was absolutely gorgeous. I am so glad we got to go there. I hadn't been in Colorado for about 60 years when I went with my grandparents. It was amazing to see it all again.
