Going Shopping

It is a beautiful day today. There were a lot of hard rains that went around us. Bad hail fell in several places. I want to go shopping at a larger town from here. I love the big Wal-Mart. Groceries there are so much cheaper and so is their gas.
Also the clothing stores are right next door which makes it very convenient. It is a good day to get out and go somewhere as it sounds like lots more rain is on the way in the next couple of days.

Beautiful Weather

It is such a beautiful day today. Tomorrow is supposed to be quite different with cold and maybe even snow moving in. I took the car in for servicing this morning and picked up some milk and bread for the weekend. We may be staying in if the weather turns nasty. I see it is snowing out west in places. It has been such a nice November so far, I sure hope it continues for awhile yet. We really enjoy it and winter seems to last 6 months of the year. The birds are hitting the feeders hard so you know they are storing up and many will head south soon.

And We Shall Have Weather, Whether or Not?

That is a very old saying but very true. Here it is December 1 and the sun is shining. The grass is green. There is no wind. My husband walked over to the mailboxes and got the mail and said what a nice day it is. I ran some errands this morning and it was so nice not to have ice and snow. We are truly blessed so far this year and I hope it keeps it up for as long as possible.

Beautiful Weather

Yesterday was the most beautiful Fall day. It was very sunny and there was no wind. That made it a very comfortable day. The grass is still green. The farmers can still bring in the crops. The elevators are working overtime with all the corn coming in. The neighbors put up their Christmas lights and we are really enjoying them.

Beautiful Cool Morning

What a beautiful day it is today. It is below normal for temperatures which is delightful after having 100 degree weather for awhile. I don't like the hot weather and humidity. I would rather stay in the air conditioned house any time it is so hot. Today is going to be perfect for opening windows and letting in the fresh air.
