Car Dealership

Got our car fixed this morning. Glad that is done. Walked around and looked at used cars. They really have a lot of nice used cars and the prices are nice too - NOT. They said they can't get new cars from the factory and had only 2 new ones outside and 2 inside. The salesmen walking around drinking coffee and the guy at the desk looked bored out of his mind.

Car Repairs

The motor under the driver's seat of our car went out. It was going to cost a bundle. We told the dealer we just could not afford what they wanted and we would think on it. We also were advised to look for a used motor for the seat. We asked the dealer to do that without much success. However, we have done a lot of business there and they cut the repair in half and we could afford that. We will be getting it fixed on Monday.

Got The Car Back

We went and picked up the car at the car repair place. They did a beautiful job fixing the bumper and they said the one license plate light was broken too. They fixed it all and it looks just like new. They even washed the car and that really made it look nice. It was so good to be back driving our own car rather than a strange one. No matter how nice they are, you are used to your own car. It sure didn't take them long either. We were happy about that too. It cost about $619 for the repairs. The gal in the office said they get a lot of jobs due to the transit buses hitting peoples cars.

Car Repairs

We had a local transit bus hit the back bumper of our car. It hit it hard enough to scrape off some of the paint and scratch it. It was a hit and run on top of it. It also broke one of the lights by the license plate. We didn't see that right away. It's going to cost over $618 to fix it plus the rental car but they said they could have it done sometime tomorrow so we are very glad of that. We have a lot of dental and doctor appointments to keep next week and would rather being driving our own car.

The Car Repair

Tomorrow morning we take the car into the shop to have the back bumper fixed. Since it is all fiberglass, it shouldn't be too big a deal. My husband said we could live without it being fixed if it had not been that it was a hit and run by a local transit van and was reported to the police. Our car was parked and there was a witness at the business next door that got their license plate number so I suppose the driver is going to get a ticket too for hit and run. Hate to be without the car, but will have a rental car. Always a little different getting used to driving a different car for awhile.
