Cataract Surgery
Four years ago I had the cataract removed from my left eye. I have had wonderful vision ever since. But lately it seemed I was blinking more when I read the paper or magazines. I had my annual checkup and the cataract in my right eye was ready to come out. I had surgery on Tuesday and have a lot of drops to put in my eye for a month. I go back in 2 weeks for a checkup on the surgery. I would guess that at that time, I will have to get new glasses. I am glad it is done. Everything is so nice and white. We have 2 1/2 inches of new snow so it is really white outside. It is great that eye surgeons can do this for you.

Cataract Surgery
Cataract surgery is amazing. My husband had a cataract removed from his left eye 3 weeks ago and he went from being nearly blind in that eye to having 20-20 vision. He is going to have the other eye operated on a week from Tuesday and we have already been to the store to get new frames and lenses ordered. They have most of it all in the computer so after the surgery, they can add the rest and he will have reading glasses in a week. He already is amazed at how well he can see everything with his left eye. This surgery is really a blessing.

Birthday
The end of the month is my husband's birthday. It is a special one and we are going out for supper with our daughter and her husband. That will be fun. We have a baby shower for our granddaughter that same day so it will be a busy day. Tomorrow is his checkup so he can have cataract surgery next Wednesday. He will be glad to see clearly again.
