Relocating

Our son and his wife and family have relocated, along with new jobs further south. He always wanted to move farther south where it is warmer and I think he has also found they have lots more rain than we do up here in Northern Iowa. They bought a beautiful home and we were privileged to go visit there last month.

It is so nice to see your children doing better than you did when you were their age. I love my 3 bedroom mobilehome though and have plenty of room for my computer room.

Online Backup

Backing up the information on your computer is sometimes time consuming. You may put it off and then something happens like a lightning strike, or a hacker gets into your files. That is when online backup would be a very important protection to have. Having a company do this for you would be ideal. you would never have to worry about losing your important computer files. I checked this out on the Internet and in my opinion it seems to be the way to go to protect my files.

Furnace Problems

This is not the time of the year to have furnace problems but we did. I noticed the furnace was running but the blower didn't come on and there was no heat. It turned out a gob of dust got into a fan that triggered everything and the plumber cleaned it out. Then it did it again today. We turned off the furnace and waited a bit and turned it on again. They say that resets the computer and now it is working again. We are very thankful for that as the service calls are a terrible expense.
