Is Winter Close?

They had snow out west and I heard they even had some in Texas, which I think is really unusual. Now the east coast is under winter storm watches and warnings. They say they are in for a great deal of heavy wet snow. That is really bad this time of the year because it usually brings down a lot of trees and lines and people find themselves without heat and lights. It was only 20 degrees this morning and I would sure hate to be without heat. When there is a big storm that covers many heavy populated states, it is really bad because so many people are affected. I sure wish them the best and hope it isn't as bad as they say it will be.
