Family Pictures

It is always a good time when family gets together.  Out come the cameras.  Then many pictures are taken.  Here are my children having a good time at a party.  We all had such a good time.  It isn't always easy to get everyone together.  Everyone is so busy with their own lives.  But this time, all were there but maybe three. That's a miracle in itself.

My 80th Birthday Party

Wow!  What a party my kids threw for me.  A most beautiful birthday cake, good food and all the family were there.  My kids, grandkids, great grandkids, extended family, brother and sister, and a great many friends too.  There was plenty of good food, laughter and many pictures taken.  Will be fun to see all of the pictures.  Have already seen several on Facebook.  I really had a great time and was so tired when I got home, I just sat down in my easy chair for a couple hours.  Then I got started opening the many cards.  I received 72 cards in all, some through the mail and some at the party and several gifts too.  It was quite a birthday celebration.  Such fun!

Fun at Wedding

Today they have all kinds of different entertainment for the guests at the wedding reception. After they eat, or even before, they can take pictures, acting out and having a great time. Here you see some of the family having a great time with masks. What a delightful time they all had. It was great entertainment for all before the dancing began.

Getting the Mail

It is fun getting the mail these days. You get all kinds of different things in the mail, some unexpected. It is fun hearing from old friends you haven't heard from for a year. It is nice to get the beautiful Christmas cards and read what they have been doing the past year. One of my cousins will celebrate their 50th anniversary next year. My, does time fly. I like getting the picture cards to see how the families are growing. Babies have become little people and youngsters have become teenagers almost overnight. It really is a pleasure to go get the mail these days.

Party Time - 60th Anniversary

We had a wonderful 60th anniversary party.  All of our immediate family were there all the way from the kids, grandkids and down to the great grandkids.  A good time was had by all.  Everyone had plenty to eat.  Our granddaughter-in-law baked and decorated wonderful cupcakes.  Many pictures were taken as you can imagine.  Cameras were flashing all over the place.  We went together for 2 years as I was 15 when we met.  Therefore, we have really been a couple for 62 years.  My husband spent 18 months in Germany after we were married. And today is the big day, October 8, 2010.

New Pictures of Babies

We got some new pictures last Saturday of the newest great grandbabies and they are sure growing. Baby girl looks so much like her Mom and baby boy looks so much like his Dad. We got some 4 generation pictures taken too and they turned out very good. We get to keep up with them on the internet too and that is really neat. They grow so fast and of course they are the cutest little babies.

Baby Kaitlyn

We had our family Thanksgiving dinner yesterday and everything was delicious. The turkey was just about the most juicy turkey I can ever remember eating. We had a good time playing a game and took some 4 generation pictures. Baby Kaitlyn is such a good baby. I got to hold her for quite awhile and she went to sleep on my shoulder. You don't hear a peep out of her unless she is hungry or needs changing. She is so cute but she has beautiful parents so that gives her an advantage.

Montreal Restaurants

I believe this is one of the coolest online websites Montreal Restaurants I have ever seen. Restaurants can list their restaurants, along with their addresses. They can add pictures of their restaurant or dining rooms, menus and even show you the food. I thought that was really neat seeing the dinner right before me. They can also put in coupons and almost anything else they want to provide for people like me looking for a good place to eat out. The site is user-friendly for the restaurants to provide any and all of this information for patrons to view from the comfort of their homes. And I like seeing the address so I'm not wandering around all over looking for it. A picture of the outside of the restaurant is a great help too. The site is set up for easy advertising by the restaurants and soon many other sites will be in service too so there will be some all over the world. Everyone will be able to check out the place they want to enjoy their dinner, before leaving home.
