"The Dark Knight" Tops $500 Million

Sunday, "The Dark Knight" became the second movie in Hollywood history to top $500 million at the domestic box office. And Americans complain about being so poor. I bet there were many people in the audiences who spent money to see this movie who are on layoff or have lost their homes to foreclosure. We Americans have our priorities in the wrong places many times. Hollywood has not set a good example for the generations and yet we make them millionaires and encourage them further. It just took 6 weeks or half the time it took "Titanic" to reach $500 million in a little more than three months.
