Families

We got together with most of our family the last two days and it was fun to see everyone. We also got to visit with some of their in-laws and relatives and a great many old friends. It is neat to see people you haven't seen for awhile. Monday we will be going to our home town and once again we will see a great many relatives. There will be many town people there too and friends we haven't seen in years. It is something different to look forward to in place of the daily routine we find ourselves in. We all need to slow down and stop and smell the roses, as they say. Meet with old friends and neighbors and take time to visit. I think the Pioneer people, back in their day, had to work very hard with primitive equipment, but they also got together more with family and friends for picnics and celebrations and took time out to sit in the rocking chair on the porch and watch the beautiful sunsets. We are all so busy, we are missing out on so much and do not even realize it.
