New Lawn Mower

The neighbors finally got a new lawnmower. Her dad has been coming over with his lawn mower for a couple of years. She goes and borrows it too at times. Sometimes the lawn gets lots longer than my husband would like to see next door to us. It is good to see them out mowing their lawn more now that they have a new mower themselves. Their son is also old enough now to help mow so that is good.

Lawn Mowing

My husband mowed the lawn yesterday. It was so very hot and humid, I didn't really want him to do that. I have had a knee replaced so haven't been able to manage walking behind the mower yet but it will be ok by next summer. In the meantime, he says he doesn't mind mowing the yard. The neighbor is doing half of it so that helps a lot. With all the rain we have been getting, it really grows and my husband fertilized it too and added some grass seed to the bare spots and it has really made it grow good.

Lawn Mowing

With all the rains we had last week, the lawn is really growing. I guess we have to mow it again tomorrow. That is not my favorite job. In fact, I hate it. I mowed our lawn at home a great deal when I was young and our lawn mower was really an old heavy one. That is probably why it is not my favorite job. I guess the wind is supposed to go northwest tomorrow or tonight so it won't be so humid. That will help and I hope there is a good cool breeze for a change.
