Having Fun

Here you see three of my great grandchildren.  Their Mom was able to stop them playing long enough to get a really good picture of them.  They have so much fun playing together.  They are at the age now when they love to spend a great deal of time outside.  They have a safe trampoline and a great swing set to play on.  Their folks are also planning on getting a larger portable swimming pool since they have been taking lessons, this will be great.

Fun in the Pool

Summer is quickly coming to an end and the local swimming pools are all closed now.  They stayed open for awhile after school started but now it is getting cooler and time to close them.  Fortunately, for these two little children, they were able to go vacationing where they had a beautiful indoor pool.  They are having a great time playing in the water.  They will learn to swim at a young age.  I think this is very good as I never did learn how to swim.  I wish I could have had the opportunity to learn when I was young but things were different then.

Swimming Pools

They used to call them swimming pools. Now they are aquatic centers. However, they are just fantastic swimming pools after all. The kids love them and so do the adults. The neighbor has been on vacation this week. She has been taking their 4 kids to the pool almost every day. Today she told them they would only go for an hour and a half as it is just too hot. It's pretty bad when it is too hot to go in the swimming pool.

Family Vacation

Here we are in the middle of winter. The groundhog saw his shadow and said we would have 6 more weeks of winter. Funny thing is, we have always had 6 more weeks of winter whether he saw his shadow or not. We all get cabin fever and then comes the time to start planning for that family vacation. Visions of warm white sand beaches are bouncing around in our heads. We want to get on the Internet and find the most beautiful place to stay. Karisma has five of the most wonderful hotels available anywhere. They cater to every person's personal desires. Perhaps you are one that loves to spend their time au natural. They have a hotel exclusively planned just for you. With wonderful swim up bars and you can swim up to your room, wrap yourself in a luxurious robe and totally relax. They have the finest of chefs to furnish you delightful meals as well.

New Swimming Pool

Our small town has been having a drive now for about a year in order to get together enough money to put in a brand new swimming pool. I heard the old one was losing water at the rate of 15,000 gallons a month, I believe it was and it was very old. Everyone helped out with fund raising. Companies in town gave sizable checks to the fund to help build the pool. They were able to start construction this fall and all the kids are pretty excited about it. It is going to have all the fountains, water slides and much more. It will be a big draw from other small towns around as now they have to travel as much as 50 miles to get to the nice new pool in another town. I think other small towns are having fund drives too now so that they can put in pools too. It is a great place for both adults and kids to spend alot of hot summer hours. I heard they are now having fund drives to also put in a new shelter house for picnics, etc. That will be another great addition to the town. We have an active, growing small town with more and more activities for the kids. Good idea.
