Guinea Pigs

Two of my grandsons have had two pet guinea pigs for some time.  Sadly, one of them died and they really missed him.  Then they found another one to replace the one that died.  Here you see a picture of him.  He is quite a bit bigger than the other one but they get along fine.  I got to go to their apartment and see them.  I had never been that close to a guinea pig and really didn't know what they were.  But they are so cute.

Pets are Like Family

You really get attached to your pets. They become almost like family members. Our little Holly followed me around the house wherever I went and slept by the computer. She slept in the bedroom on her own comforter and loved it. She loved to play with the grandkids and never once showed any sign of biting them no matter how much they rough housed with her. She would play till she could hardly breathe. But then she took sick and yesterday we had to put her to sleep after nearly 13 years of enjoying the best little dog we have ever had. She is missed.

Pets

It seems like ever since we have been married we have had a dog. We have had several breeds. However, the Boston Terriers are our favorite. They are so quiet, not barking all the time like some of the little dogs we have had. She is very smart too and learned various tricks very quickly. Now that she is older, she is trying to talk to us and we are figuring out what she wants by the noises she makes. Isn't that funny. Here she is checking out some new dog food we got for her.



She really loves it and would eat too much if we let her.
